DDU- GKY

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is the flagship "Placement-Linked Skilling" initiative of the Ministry of Rural Development and respective State Governments. It aims to empower rural youth by enhancing their skills and enabling wage employment in the formal sector. Originating from the 'Aajeevika' Skills Programme and the 'Special Projects' component of the Swarnjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY), DDU-GKY continues to uphold its mission of livelihood promotion through skill development.
